NOTE: Please be advised that our credit card company assesses a credit card fee to the village whenever payment is made by credit card. This fee is charged as a percentage of your total original transaction amount. Payments will be fully processed by the end of the next business day. Florida statute allows the Village to charge customers a convenience fee to offset this additional expense. Effective September 10th 2021, if you choose to pay your permit with a credit or debit card, you will be charged a Credit Card Convenience Fee of 3.25%.

Please be advised that although the Village of Bal Harbour has suspended Building Department Inspections due to the Novel COVID-19 virus, and in an effort to assist Construction Projects that are underway in the Village, the Building Department is accepting Inspections by Affidavit. Please contact the Building Department for instructions.
Welcome to the Bal Harbour Village Online Permit Center!
This portal allows you to track the current status of your permit application, view plan reviewer comments, and schedule inspections online.
Permit applications must be submitted in person at Village Hall (655 96th Street). In addition, some types of work may required you to apply to outside agencies such as DERM and Miami-Dade Fire Department.

The Online Permit Center also provides public access to permit reports as well as reference material and documentation. To search for permit status, request an inspection, verify that an inspection has been scheduled or obtain other related information, please follow the menu prompts.
